How do your pants fit?
Most women take their normal pant size. The Reinforced Carpenter Pant is high-waisted with a close-to-body fit with 30" and 34" inseam options. Full size guide on each product page.
What is your shipping policy?
Free shipping on orders $150 and up. Standard shipping rates apply on orders under $150. We ship from California. Typical delivery is 3–7 business days within the US.
What’s your return + exchange policy?
Free exchanges. 30-day returns with a $9 handling fee. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached. Drop us a line and we’ll send a return label.
What is the Built to Last promise?
Made to go the distance. If something breaks before it should, we’ll fix it or replace it. You work hard. Your gear should too.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within the United States. International expansion is on our Master Plan for 2027. Sign up for our list to be notified when your country opens up.
What are your products made of?
The Reinforced Carpenter Pant is 98% Cotton / 2% Spandex in 10.5 oz cotton twill. The Heavyweight Carpenter Pant is the same blend in 13.5 oz cotton twill.
How do I care for my pants?
Machine wash cold with like colors, tumble dry low, or hang to dry. Avoid bleach and fabric softener. The carpenter pants will soften and break in over time. That’s by design.

You can pick us up at Berdels in Santa Cruz — 1233 Pacific Ave, Santa Cruz, CA 95060. We don’t have our own storefront. Otherwise, we ship direct from the Santa Cruz Mountains via heydirtybirdy.com. More retail partnerships and pop-ups are on our Master Plan for 2027.
